The winning bid for this item guarantees a group of up to six folks, a thoroughly enjoyable day on the water, during the month of September ! The trip will leave York Harbor early in the morning , heading east twenty or thirty miles out to Jeffreys' Ledge(or wherever we think the fish and whales might be). Typically we would start out fishing for live bait, and then go anchor-up somewhere on a hump that looked fishy, and start chumming, fishing an assortment of offerings on four bent-butt 130lb.rods with Shimano and Penn 130 reels.Tuna encountered fishing this method range from 100 - 700 plus lbs. Depending on your personal preferences, we could start out the day trolling for school sized tuna(50-100lb.) with stand-up gear. On a good day we see nature at its' finest, with whales, porpoises, fish and seabirds galore ! Should you be fortunate enough to be on the reel coaxing a tuna to the boat, it is an experience you will NEVER forget!On a large fish ,people typically take turns, as these fish are the only warmblooded fish in the sea, and the power of their runs will absolutely amaze you. Depending upon the location , a couple people can be groundfishing at the same time, pulling up Haddock, Cod and an assortment of other table fare.

Power is provided by a six cylinder Volvo diesel, and there's plenty of soundproofing to allow you to talk at cruising speed.
